Patrick’s Point Visitor Center – The small, rustic visitor center inside Patrick’s Point State Park is staffed by volunteers who can help you tell quartz from agate, along with other tips about beach combing at the iconic Agate Beach.
Stone Lagoon Visitors Center – Kayak Zak’s hosts the visitor center for the Humboldt Lagoons State Park at a scenic lagoon overlook about 15 miles north of Trinidad. You’ll find maps, brochures, and travel tips of all kinds.

Thomas H. Kuchel Visitor Center - This well-stocked trove of information about Redwood National & State Parks, offers maps, guidebooks, back country permits and much more. It is one mile south of Orick, on the west side of Highway 101.
Trinidad Art Gallery - Located in a beautifully restored historic building, this fine craft and art cooperative features original works of photography, functional ceramics, oil and watercolor paintings, jewelry, mosaic art, metalwork, textiles, beading, sculpture, prints, cards, stained glass, blown glass, books and music CDs. Trinidad Museum - This beautifully renovated home, with five exhibit rooms, features Native American exhibits, a magnificent mural, natural history, and historic photographs that evoke the history of our small fishing town and the first people who lived here. (707) 677-3883
